About us

Åbo i Norden – Turku Network for Nordic Studies (Turku Nordic) is a three-year (2024–2027) development project funded by Svenska kulturfonden. The project is led and administered by the Department of Scandinavian Languages at the University of Turku.

The project makes Nordic expertise visible in the universities in Turku and develops Nordic studies and research at the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi.
