What is AI2Med Turku?
AI2Med is Turku’s dedicated event bringing together AI researchers and medical professionals. This two-day event focuses on the growing need for collaboration between computational scientists and healthcare practitioners, covering applications from medical imaging to protein design and clinical text mining.
The conference provides a platform for researchers, clinicians, and students to share their work, exchange ideas, and build collaborative networks at the intersection of artificial intelligence and medicine.

Who can attend?
The event is open to students, researchers, healthcare professionals, and industry experts interested in AI and medical research. Both local and international participants are welcome.
Do I need prior knowledge of AI to join?
No prior expertise is required. Sessions are designed for both beginners and advanced participants, with opportunities to learn and discuss at different levels.
Can I present my research?

Is there a registration fee?
NO! All sessions and coffee breaks are free for participants! Only lunch is self-paid.
Can I get ECTS credits for attending?
Yes! You may be eligible to earn academic credits for participating. We recommend that you contact the coordinator of your study program at the University of Turku, or your home university, if you are attending from elsewhere, to confirm how many credits can be awarded based on your program’s requirements
Is there a certificate of participation?
Yes! Certificates of attendance and presentation will be provided based on your level of participation in the event.
How can I get involved beyond attending?
You can volunteer, submit research, or propose a workshop. Reach out to the organizing team for details.
