Program 2025

AI2Med is Turku’s first dedicated conference bringing together AI researchers and medical professionals. This two-day event focuses on the growing need for collaboration between computational scientists and healthcare practitioners, covering applications from medical imaging to protein design and clinical text mining.

This event provides a platform for researchers, clinicians, and students to share their work, exchange ideas, and build collaborative networks at the intersection of artificial intelligence and medical research.

AI2Med 2025 successfully brought together leading experts and emerging researchers across two intensive days in November 2025. Attendees explored cutting-edge developments spanning digital transformation in radiology, generative AI in drug discovery, federated learning for privacy-preserving medical AI, and cardiovascular diagnostics through wearable technology. Beyond keynote presentations from international leaders at LMU Munich, UMC Utrecht, Orion Pharma, and Precordior, the conference featured research presentations on topics from seismocardiography to virtual tissue staining, an expert panel discussion with University of Turku faculty, interactive networking activities, and a pitch competition that showcased innovative AI solutions for healthcare challenges.
