The grant, amounting to \u20ac399,000, has been awarded to the project <em>Corporate Forest: Revealing Hidden Harms in Forest Regulation Through Computational and Posthuman Legal Analysis<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to Malik, the research team includes University Teacher Juho Aalto and doctoral researchers Sonja Vilenius and Marjaana Sj\u00f6lund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Forest loss is not merely an ecological problem\u2014it is also shaped by the ways in which forests are discussed, defined, and classified in laws and regulations.
