Hanke kuuluu kulttuurin ja yhteiskunnan tutkimuksen toimikunnan rahoittamiin tutkimusavauksiin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Corporate Forest II tarkastelee, miten mets\u00e4lains\u00e4\u00e4d\u00e4nt\u00f6 ja -politiikka muovaavat ihmisten ja luonnon v\u00e4lisi\u00e4 suhteita Suomessa. Tutkimus keskittyy erityisesti siihen, miten oikeusj\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4 voi tahattomasti mahdollistaa ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6lle haitallisia k\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6j\u00e4 mets\u00e4teollisuuden kontekstissa. Hankkeessa yhdistyv\u00e4t oikeudelliset, ekologiset ja yhteiskuntatieteelliset n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Monitieteinen tutkimus hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4\u00e4 laajaa aineistopohjaa, kuten haastatteluja, arkistoaineistoja ja lainvalmisteluasiakirjoja, sek\u00e4 soveltaa laskennallisia analyysimenetelmi\u00e4. Tavoitteena on tuottaa uutta tietoa mets\u00e4hallinnan vaikutuksista sek\u00e4 kehitt\u00e4\u00e4 edellytyksi\u00e4 oikeudenmukaisemmalle ja kest\u00e4v\u00e4mm\u00e4lle metsien k\u00e4yt\u00f6lle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hankkeessa tehd\u00e4\u00e4n aktiivista yhteisty\u00f6t\u00e4 muun muassa koulujen, kolmannen sektorin toimijoiden ja taiteilijoiden kanssa.
