CFP: CRISSE Opening Seminar on May 16th, from 1:15 PM to 5:00 PM

Welcome to the Opening Seminar of the Critical Sexuality Studies Network (CRISSE)!

The recently established Critical Sexuality Studies Network (CRISSE) within the Department of History, Culture, and Arts Studies focuses on humanistic sexuality research, particularly within the realms of cultural studies, history, art studies, and media studies. The network aims to bring together diverse sexuality research conducted within the department, promote networking, and plan future research and teaching collaborations.

The CRISSE Opening Seminar will be held on May 16th, 2024, from 1:15 PM to 5:00 PM. We invite short presentations (maximum 10 minutes) on participants’ research. Everyone interested, both from within and outside the HCT department, is welcome to attend. Presentations can cover ongoing or planned research. If you’d like to present your work, please send the title of your presentation, whether you prefer to present in Finnish or English, your name, and affiliation to contact-crisse(at)utu.fi by March 8th, 2024.

The seminar will provide an opportunity for discussion and collaborative planning. Welcome!
