{"id":713,"date":"2026-03-16T15:10:20","date_gmt":"2026-03-16T13:10:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.utu.fi\/demokratia\/?p=713"},"modified":"2026-03-19T18:00:11","modified_gmt":"2026-03-19T16:00:11","slug":"student-compass","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.utu.fi\/demokratia\/en\/student-compass\/","title":{"rendered":"Students, share your views on AI!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>In the spring of 2025, we will invite all degree students from the University of Turku to participate in the Student Compass, which will explore students&#8217; views on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education.\u00a0 The results will be used for democracy research and in developing the University&#8217;s AI guidelines. All degree students are invited to participate. The registration period has been extended until 25 March 2026. This extension of the registration period applies only to small-group discussions in Finnish.<br><br><\/em>The Student Compass study brings together degree students from the University of Turku to reflect on the use of artificial intelligence in everyday studying and teaching. The results will be used for democracy research and in developing the University&#8217;s AI guidelines. The study is carried out by political science researchers from the University of Turku as part of the ADDI research project, which is funded by the European Research Council.<a href=\"https:\/\/advancingdemocracy.eu\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><\/a>\u00a0<br><br>To participate, you are expected to attend a two-hour small-group discussion on Zoom and complete research surveys.
