Support is evident!
Network laboratories may confront several Bordetella or toxin-producing Corynebacterium species related problems on diagnostic techniques (PCR, serology, culture, point-of-care test), characterisation methods (e.g., genomic identification, AST, vaccine antigen detection, Elek test) and other methods.
Upon request we will provide support, guidance, advice and help to reference laboratories and to ECDC. To apply for support/help, please use the contact details and form on the “Contact” page.
One part of the suppor task is also to form a WGS task force to work together with ECDC officials on B. pertussis WGS data anaylsis and interpretation.
