04.11.2019 14:00 - 17:30

Logomo

INVEST Launch
4.11.2019 14:00 – 18:00
Venue: Logomo, Logi 1, Köydenpunojankatu 14, 20100 Turku, Finland

Come and hear the INVEST researchers’ plan how the new welfare state will be built.
What are the ways to find out the benefit and service gaps, and
what can be done to ensure wellbeing and skill development among children and youth?

Finnish welfare state is a globally admired success story. However, due to low fertility, aging population and economic constrains, the welfare model is becoming both socially and economically unsustainable. Disadvantages are still concentrating on the same families and neighbourhoods and the welfare state seem to be poorly equipped to deal with these problems.

We need a new model for the welfare states!
