He works on neuromorphic computing and memristive hardware, brain-inspired technology that could help robots learn, adapt, and make decisions in real time. Alongside his research, Henrique works at a startup that is innovating semiconductor manufacturing and enabling next-generation chips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a short keynote, Henrique will share his experience of working across academia and entrepreneurship: the challenges of moving between two very different environments, and the opportunities that open up when scientific research meets the startup ecosystem. Afterwards there will be time for questions and conversation over breakfast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Programme<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>9:00 Breakfast is served<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>9:30 Keynote by Henrique N\u00fa\u00f1ez (about 15 min)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Afterwards: discussion and networking until 11:00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the first of four breakfast meetings for university researchers, held every second Friday at Konttori.
