MeHeFo Innovation week brought together students and companies

The Me, My Health & My Food project conducted an innovation week in May 2022, which brought together students from the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Technology and Turku School of Economics to develop new solutions benefiting health and food. During the week the students collaborated with companies, researchers and experts to work on their innovations.

The company hosting the innovation week was Raisio Group:

– Food is not just a fuel. For us, this project is an opportunity to look further into the future with an international point of view, commented Raisio Group’s New Business Manager Heli Töykkälä.

During the week, the companies gained both concrete product and concept developing ideas, as well as a change to collaborate within a multidisciplinary ecosystem.

– This ecosystem is a unique chance for the eight companies involved in our project to develop comprehensive and proactive solutions for human health and personalized nutrition, stated the instructors of the innovation week, Minna Storm and Peter Zettinig.
