MFA RESET
If the device requests authentication during login and you no longer have access to the previously set authentication method for some reason, multi-factor authentication (MFA) needs to be reset.
Remote MFA reset requires resetting your UTU password. In practice, we will reset your password and then remove the MFA information. After this, you need to renew your password using Suomi.fi authentication at https://idm.utu.fi before you can use university services or create a new MFA login. Send an email related to this issue to helpdesk@utu.fi.
Alternatively, you can visit the support desk at Medisiina or Arcanum, where MFA can be reset without changing your UTU password after verifying your identity.
