Science and Art Education Programme

Based on the results of the Multispecies Kirpilä Art Collection research project, a science‑and‑art education programme for school‑aged children and young people will be carried out at the Kirpilä Art Home. The programme is led by artist and art‑ and environmental educator Tiina Arjukka Hirvonen.

Building on the workshops and the guided sessions conducted alongside them, an audio guide will also be produced. It will remain available to visitors at the Kirpilä Art Home even after the Multispecies Art Home project has ended. Short introductions to the animal‑themed works in the Kirpilä collection can be scanned and listened to via QR codes.
