TRIBES is an Action focuses on school safety, building inclusion and preventing bullying in in diverse society schools. The project enhances collaboration between stakeholders to update, enhance and pilot new ‘real world’ scientific measures and approaches, collate evaluated interventions and approaches around inclusion and bullying prevention to disseminate a comprehensive program/handbook for schools and a guideline policy document for authorities,  building capacity, and working holistically towards ensuring the integration, safety and well-being of all students in EU secondary schools.

AIM

  • To advance collaboration between stakeholders to evolve and improve scientific measures and guides, building capacity across these challenged areas, working holistically towards ensuring integration, reducing bullying and enhancing the safety and well-being of refugee/migrant students, and as a result, all students in EU secondary schools, aiding in the social stability of both the individual and society

CONTENT

  • TRIBES has six working groups focusing on: School climate assessment and development; immigration, diversity and school practice; school bullying, tolerance and integration; pupil voice and the promotion of inclusion; school design and safety; e-technology, cyberbullying and online safety.
  • The project aims to foster collaboration, create school climate measures, establish and analyse the state of research, practice and policy on cross-national basis, assess the success of integration and anti-bullying measures, create a handbook of interventions and web-based resources, develop guidelines and advisory document and promote collaborative research.

IMPLICATIONS

TRIBES contributes to growing and fractious immigration and promotes integration policy to aid in the social stability of both the individual and society.
