PAGA researchers at Nordic Esport and Health Workshop

The Nordic Esports and Health workshop took place at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland between the 24th and 25th August 2022.

The first day included the following in depth presentations

• Yupei Zhao – Zhejiang University “Esports Industry, Culture and Social Well-being in China”
• Ville Qvist – President of Finnish Esports Federation “Doping in Esports”
• Sok-Rok Song (PAGA Collaborator) “Study on Concern of Korea’s Esports Policy”
• Weldon Green – Mind Games “The Future of Professional Player Well-being”

The second day included the following work in progress presentations

• Kwok Ng & Miikka Sokka “Physical Activity and Gaming Activity (PAGA) First Glance”
• Mayara Caetano “After Nordic Esports”
• Miia Siutila “I Hate Coming Up with Titles – National Esports Associations”
• Ville Malinen “Competitiors and Brand Messangers: The Synergy of Motorsports and eMotorsports at Competitior Level”

The event was organised by Veli-Matti Karhulahti & Raine Koskimaa (partners of PAGA), and supported by Anne Mette Thorhauge (advisor to PAGA), and Andreas Lindegaard Gregersen.
