Greetings from a data collection trip in Morocco, part 3

These pictures capture moments from our second reading group session at a large rural school in Morocco.

In the reading group, we discussed Je ne partirai pas by Mohammad Sabaaneh and wrote a dialogue featuring two characters: the bird that conveys the experiences of Palestinians in the book, and the writer of the exercise themselves (instead of the journalist imprisoned in the story).

Many participants wanted to read their dialogues aloud, and once again, our colleague Rabiaa skillfully translated from Arabic or Darija into French. Religion played a significant role in many of the dialogues, offering a sense of safety and faith that good will ultimately triumph over evil.
