Annual Conference of Youth Studies

Elli, Faith and Johanna from the project team attended the annual Conference of Youth Studies in Tampere last week, organized by Nuorisotutkimus.

In addition to presenting our own project and preliminary observations from the ongoing fieldwork, we got to listen to many inspiring talks and presentations in the Planetary youth research working group and in the conference in general.

Some interesting concepts and ideas we are reflecting on after the conference include the myriad of participatory and creative methods used in different studies, the many ways of understanding and conceptualizing resilience, and the importance of creative and collective activities in processing information related to planetary crises.
