Satakunta Strength at Work
Project background
We develop together – among different work organizations – knowledge related to well-being at work in Satakunta region.
Our goal is to improve productivity of organizations by means of well-being at work.
By identifying own strengths and responding to changes in work, the project aims to create improved knowledge capital for the organizations participating in this project.
Our methods include:
- knowledge sharing
- working together, learning from each other and developing together
- implementing and supporting concrete development measures
- modeling and creating a toolkit for well-being at work
- encouraging further cooperation between the participating organizations
The Project
Satakunta Strength at Work project supports the development of well-being at work in various organizations in Satakunta region. The coordinator of this project is University of Turku, Turku School of Economics, Pori Unit.
A total number of 19 work organizations – both private companies and actors from the public sector – participate in the project.
The project duration is 12 months and will be implemented during the years of 2022 – 2023. The project is co-funded by the European Social Fund ESF.
The nature of work and working methods have changed and are still changing.
Management of change and the importance of well-being at work are growing in this process. This is also connected to the productivity of the entire work organization.
In Satakunta Strength at Work project, well-being at work will be developed through cooperation and cooperation between the participating organizations, learning from each other.
As one result, a toolkit for well-being at work will be modeled and created, which will serve the organizations participating in this project as well as other organizations in Satakunta region on a large scale in the future.
