Exiting progress in the Smart Port City project

We are thrilled to announce the latest developments in our Smart Port City project! On the 5th of September, 2023, during our last steering group meeting, our teams presented a comprehensive literature review that marks a crucial step in our journey towards the conceptualization of a Smart Port City.

Literature review focused on key areas central for the Smart Port City which included: smart port, smart city along with smart tourism as well as mobility-as-a-service, and smart port city. The researchers continue working on the analysis of the material collected for the project so far (documents, interviews, survey data). This analysis forms the basis for the next step of our research, starting at the beginning of next year, where we will organize workshops for stakeholders to discuss together the observations and results of the first phase of our project.

The interview is tailored specifically for the local audience to communicate about our project and encourage citizens to participate in our short survey. We truly believe that the best ways to tackle the ‘smart’ is to do it not for people but with people and other stakeholders.
