NordTick 2026

“A warm welcome to the NordTick 2026 conference that will be held at the lovely seaside Varbergs Kusthotell, Varberg, on the southwestern coast of Sweden, to actively participate and contribute to the scientific program. Take the opportunity to meet, discuss and network with research colleagues in a friendly and informal atmosphere. NordTick 2026 is organized by an internationally leading group on the tick-borne bacterium Neoerlichia mikurensis, led by Professor Christine Wennerås, University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and the administrative coordinator Stefan Wengelin, Commee AB, under the umbrella of NoSTick, the Nordic Society for Research on Ticks and Tick-borne Infections.

The conference starts with lunch on Tuesday 2 June, and ends two with lunch on Thursday 4 June, 2026. The NordTick conferences are held every two years in one of the Nordic countries and typically attract 150-200 participants. The focus is on different aspects of ticks and tick-borne diseases, covering current research on ticks, the general and clinical aspects of tick-borne diseases in humans and animals, tick-borne microbial communities and species. New and ongoing research will be presented by participants at oral and poster sessions, and by invited key-note speakers. The conference language is English.”
