Training

We offer an online training course on the citizen research panel for both those interested in becoming panel members and for researchers at the University of Turku. The trainings take just over an hour to complete and are tailored to introduce citizens to their role as panel members and researchers to the process of designing panel tasks.

The trainings are open to everyone, so even if you’re not planning to join the panel or involve citizens in your own research, you’re welcome to explore the content based on your interests.

For researchers, there is training both in English and in Finnish. The content is the same in both – you only need to take either one. The training is offered in English to ensure that all researchers at the University of Turku can learn about the citizen research panel – what it is and how it works. However, due to limited resources, the panel will operate only in Finnish during the pilot phase, until the end of 2026.
