Pori and Satakunta: come learn about citizen science

People from all walks of life have long contributed to science in collaboration with professional researchers. In this public lecture, we’ll introduce what this means in practice and a new way to get involved through the University of Turku.

A citizen research panel has been established at the university to bring citizens and researchers together to collaborate on scientific work. The Science Belongs to Everyone! project will host a public lecture on citizen science and the new citizen research panel on Tuesday 12 August at 17:30 at Pori main library, room Seminaarihuone 1.

Welcome to join the discussion and explore how science and citizens can meet and inspire each other! No registration required.

A similar event will also take place in Turku, on Wednesday 20 August at 18:00 in the Studio room of the main library.
