Members

All researchers working on the ancient, medieval, and early modern periods are welcome to join TUCEMEMS. As a member, you will have the chance to participate in various TUCEMEMS events related to premodern and early modern studies. These events present an excellent opportunity for members to meet colleagues and discuss our research. We also send our members a weekly email newsletter with information on various events and conferences related to premodern and early modern studies.

The research fields of TUCEMEMS members include e.g. archaeology, art history, classical and modern languages and philology, comparative religion, history, legal history, literature, and philosophy. Most of our members are researchers or staff members at the University of Turku, but we also have members from other universities in Finland and abroad.

You can apply to become a member of TUCEMEMS if you are a researcher or doctoral researcher and your research is related to the fields of study covered by our research centre. For more information, please send an email to tucemems-info[at]utu.fi.
