Finland-Japan Students Collaboration Workshop Successfully Conducted at the Turku Design Studio
Student collaboration workshop on Design Thinking was successfully conducted at the Turku Design Studio, 28.02 – 03.03.2023 . The participants went through Design Thinking Competency exercises based on various Seeing – Imagining – Drawing iterations of Visual Thinking.
Three teams were composed ensuring diversity of all those teams by balancing the Personal Creativity Modes of participants. E3 Value Tree was then constructed where economic, ecological and experience values (including functional, social, emotional and epistemic values) are identified for the theme of Experiences in Winter Life. Student participants from Sapporo City University in Japan and the University of Turku and Turku University of Applied Science in Finland jointly identified critical E3 values and reflected on how some aesthetic emotional and epistemic values are transformed to active emotional values through service activities.
