Smart Service Design Thinking Tutorial Workshop, May 10, 17, 24, and 31, 17:00 – 19:30
The Turku Design Studio of the University of Turku offers a 4 week tutorial workshop on Smart Service Design Thinking. It will be composed of 2.5 hours sessions on Wednesdays from May 10 to May 31, 17:00 – 19:30.
The target audiences are those with some previous exposure to Service Design or Design Thinking. The tutorial will introduce weekly topical methods followed by team-based activities toward smart service concept design. Weekly topics are as follows:
May 10: Underlying Cognitive Process of Design Thinking: Seeing – Imagining – Drawing Iterations of Visual Thinking
May 17: Understanding Human Values and Services: Experience Values (Functional, Social, Emotional, Epistemic Values)
May 24: Human Activity-Centered Design: Structured Service Imagining (Context-Based Activity Modeling)
May 31: Smart Experience Design Using Experience Data: Experience – Evaluate – Engage Iterations in Experiences
The tutorial workshop will be held at the Turku Design Studio (address: Lemminkäisenkatu 28, Turku) led by Professor Yong Se Kim.
