Register for the annual National Virology Days 2026 held in Turku through link below.

Deadline for registration is February 13^th 2026, please complete your payment at registration. Those registered without completing the payment within one week will be considered as not registered. In case you have problems with the payments, please contact us without delays at virologyturku@lists.utu.fi

Registration closes on March 9^th 2026

Registration fees:

• Early bird registration fee: €230 (valid until February 13, 2026)
• Late registration fee: €280 (from February 14, 2026)

The registration fee includes:

• Attendance in the scientific programme 19.- 20.3.2026
• Conference dinner on Thursday 19.3.2026
• Coffee and lunch on the conference days as marked in the programme

Cancellation terms: 

• Cancellations until February 13th 2026: 50% refund of the registration to cover office and booking costs
• After February 13th 2026: No refund

Abstracts

Participants are also invited to submit abstracts. See abstract template below for more information.

Presentations, oral and poster, are selected based on the abstracts and notified by February 27^th 2026

BioNordika New England Biolabs is sponsoring the Best Poster Prize & stipend 2026, which will be selected by the participants!

Oral presentations

All presentations will be in English. Talks are scheduled to be 10 min long, and the two prize lectures 20 min. We will have a PC available in the lecture room. Presentations should preferably be in PowerPoint format. The presentation files should be named as follows: Surname_dd.mm.yy

We kindly ask speakers to download their presentation to lecture room computer latest 15 min before the session starts.

Poster presentations

Posters should be printed in A0 size, portrait orientation.

Posters should be put up latest at lunch break on Thursday and taken down during lunch on Friday.
