Guest Lecture by Alice Baroni
As part of the ‘Learning Palestine’ series organized by Turku with Palestine, Alice Baroni will give a Guest Lecture titled ‘Israeli activism, Zionism, and the Decolonization of Palestine.’
The lecture will draw on Alice’s extensive fieldwork in Palestine-Israel to provide an overview of the current landscape of Jewish-Israeli activism in Israel and elaborate on the role it can (and cannot) play in the struggle for the decolonization of Palestine.
The lecture will be followed by a discussion with Anaïs Duong-Pedica (Turku with Palestine activist, PhD researcher at Åbo Akademi University on settler colonialism in Kanaky/New Caledonia) and a Q&A with the audience.
