The WHISOL project team congratulates our international collaborator, Laura M. De Vos (Radboud University), on the publication of their new book Voorbij Winnetou en Pocahontas (Beyond Winnetou and Pocahontas). The book, written with Katrien Demuynck, was published by EPO. It is a non-fiction, Dutch-language book that engages with discussions of settler colonialism, pipelines, and the reasons for international solidarity. In it the writers show that we can learn much from both the worldviews and the resistance of Indigenous peoples. Congratulations to Laura and Katrien on this important publication!
