Reetta Humalajoki featured on the “Humanisti vastaa” podcast
In February the WHISOL-project’s PI Reetta Humalajoki was a guest on the podcast Humanisti vastaa (transl. Humanities researcher responds). The podcast is hosted by Riitta Monto, professor of practice at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Turku. The episode grappled with timely questions related to Indigenous peoples in the past and present, including the impact of United States politics on Indigenous peoples and the appropriation of Sámi cultures in Finland.
