PEDANET-AREA FOR SELF-STUDIES (IN FINNISH)

The material is based on the pedagogical development material we used during ACTS-project with teachers. The material is created from the perspective of self-studies, individual group or pair studies as well as studying with us. The core of this material is in a deveploment project and reflecting your own actions in classroom in order to enhance and assess the thinking in your classroom. All the material is free.
MOODLE-AREA IN THE WEB OF THE UNIVERSITY OF TURKU (3 EcT POINTS)
If you are studying in the University of Turku, you can ask for a possibility to study with ACTS as apart of your studies. The assignments are in Finnish, but we can help you to implement the studies in English also. The course materials and modules are excatly the same as in Pedanet. Feel free to contact us (julaer@utu.fi) and start the studies.

From these webpages you can find all the material created during the project. There is also links to materials of the partners’. With this material you can study individually or with a pair about assessing thinking skills and developing thinking in classrooms in general. The material accord to the professional development studies implemented during the project. With the material you can study the background of our assessment tools as well as the tools. The use of the tools are supported with practical examples, videoclips and teacher experiences. The material is free and can be used to organize professional development trainings at you school. Most of the materials (the background and the tools are in English). However, the supportative material are mostly in Finnish.
ORDER A PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSE FROM US
Our course materials and content follow the course during the project. The courses will consist of three parts: the training, the testing and the reflecting + planning further. The lenght of the course will be decided in accordance to you needs. Contact julaer@utu.fi
