China-Finland Seminar of Alzheimer’s Disease 2024

In line with our lab’s ongoing commitment to fostering global scientific collaboration, a second edition of the Seminar on Advances in PET and fMRI Technologies for Alzheimer’s Disease Research was celebrated on October 18th 2024. The seminar was organised jointly by Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University, Beijing, China & Turku PET Centre, Turku University Hospital, University of Turku, Finland. This event was hosted by Professor Hua Lin and Professor Juha Rinne, and included presentations from early-career researchers and senior researchers both from Beijing and Turku.

Marco Bucci, Chunlei Han and Claudia Tato from Turku PET Centre visited Beijing with the purpose to build stronger partnerships with research teams in China. The trip provided invaluable opportunities to discuss shared research goals and exchange knowledge with researchers from Xuanwu Hospital and Peking Union Hospital. We look forward to the exciting opportunities that will emerge from this cooperation and are grateful for the support and vision of the organising professors.
