White matter impairment and APOE genotype – new publication!
Our latest publication demonstrates that white matter impairment can be detected with DTI imaging in cognitively healthy APOE4/4. In addition, we showed that increased diffusivity was associated with cerebral beta-amyloid load and with higher serum neurofilament light chain (NfL). The article was based on the ASIC-E4 and CIRI-5Y studies and it was published in Neurobiology of Disease (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.nbd.2024.106439).
The whole group congratulates PhD researcher Claudia Tato-Fernandez for the publication of the first article of her PhD thesis!
