Celebrating the new Professors

Hanna Tuomisto gave her professor’s lecture and the Amazons had a nice time celebrating her new position. Hanna and Toni Laaksonen are the two new professors hired by the Ecology department of University of Turku. Hanna talked about many aspects of her research in Amazonia, like forest classification, use of satellite images and touched political issues too. The event was inspiring and it is also fun to see the Amazons in tidy clothes. Congratulations Hanna and Toni!
