Last Amazon Meeting of 2019

The last Amazon Team Meeting of the year will be held on Friday 29th of November from 12-14 in the room 251 (Natura building, second floor). In this meeting we will particularly discuss one recently accepted paper regarding fern diversity globally and also a recent paper about geological influence on Amazonia.

Hanna Tuomisto will present the recently accepted manuscript Global fern and lycophyte richness explained: How regional and local factors shape plot richness by Anna Weigand et al., and after that we will discuss the paper Andean Tectonics and Mantle Dynamics as a Pervasive Influence on Amazonian Ecosystem by Bicudo et al. (2019), as suggested by Gabriela Zuquim.
