Paper out! Mapping Floristic Patterns of Trees in Peruvian Amazonia Using Remote Sensing and Machine Learning

While most of the Amazons are still in their home-offices, the work is moving forward.

PhD candidate Pablo Perez Chaves and colleagues have just published a paper in Remote Sensing journal modelling tree species composition in Peru

They propose a floristic classification of Peruvian Amazonia based on a combination of Landsat and climate variables to predict tree composition at the genus level.

Congratulations Pablo and the other authors!
