Abstract submission
Presentations during the Aura Symposium will be in the form of oral presenations or posters:
- Oral presentations will be scheduled in 15-minute time slots, including approximately 3 minutes for discussion and questions from the audience (12 + 3 min). Depending on the number of people interested to present, some people may be asked to give a 3-minute presentation (short talk).
- Posters should be A0 size (841 x 1189 mm), in portrait orientation.
The best presentation and poster (decided by the keynote speakers and scientific committee) will be awarded with a prize.
For doctoral researchers, participation with a poster will be rewarded with 1 ECTS, and participation with oral presentation will be rewarded with 2 ECTS.
UTU Master’s degree students can receive 1 ECTS by writing a report with a summary of the four keynote presentations and sending it to Jon Brommer. ÅAU Master’s degree students can receive credits by writing a report as part of the Ecological Analysis II course. ÅAU Bachelor’s degree students can receive 1 ECTS by writing a short report on at least five presentations covering all three days and including it in the Bioportfolio course.
Please be aware that the abstract submission is separate from registering to attend the conference. If your abstract is accepted, you will need to register via the registration form once registration opens.
The online form for abstract submission will be open from December 1 to January 5, 2025.
Submission Guidelines
- Abstracts should have a maximum of 250 words. The word count does not include the title.
- Abstracts must be submitted in English.
- Please include the name of the author(s) in the pdf file with your abstract.
- Please include the title of your presentation in the pdf file with your abstract.
- Indicate whether you are submitting for an oral presentation or poster presentation.
