Presentations during the Aura Symposium will be in the form of oral presenations or posters:

  • Oral presentations will be scheduled in 15-minute time slots, including approximately 3 minutes for discussion and questions from the audience (12 + 3 min). Depending on the number of people interested to present, some people may be asked to give a 3-minute presentation (short talk).
  • Posters should be A0 size (841 x 1189 mm), in portrait orientation.

The best presentation and poster (decided by the keynote speakers and scientific committee) will be awarded with a prize.

For doctoral researchers, participation with a poster will be rewarded with 1 ECTS, and participation with oral presentation will be rewarded with 2 ECTS.

UTU Master’s degree students can receive 1 ECTS by writing a report with a summary of the four keynote presentations and sending it to Jon Brommer. ÅAU Master’s degree students can receive credits by writing a report as part of the Ecological Analysis II course. ÅAU Bachelor’s degree students can receive 1 ECTS by writing a short report on at least five presentations covering all three days and including it in the Bioportfolio course.
