Automation’s Group x Optima ry Went to Shaking Up Tech 2025
We were fortunate to actively engage in the Shaking up Tech 2025. It’s a yearly event by Finnish universities for women and gender minorities who are beginning their path toward university studies. This event was organised for the first time at the University of Turku, and Anam Tahir played a key role as one of its co-organisers.
During this event, Jari Böling led a workshop on “Factory Automation,” focusing on the use of beginner-friendly coding techniques for object sorting. See the description in Finnish.
Additionally, Lauri Soini and Otto Rissa, members of the Automation Student Society Optima ry, alongside Kristian Klemets showcased the capabilities of the uArm robot through a live demonstration. Thanks to all the other Optima members who attended the event and engaged in conversations with participants about student life.
Naturally, there were moments when our brains were not entirely “automating” after a long day. 👇
