Meet our new Summer Intern
Paul Gautier has joined us as a summer intern to investigate the alternatives to drive train constructions for high-speed rail transportation under the supervision of Rafal Jastrzebski. Paul is currently pursuing a master’s degree in embedded electrical and electronic engineering at the CESI, Toulouse, France. Also, he works at the railway network maintenance department in the SNCF Reseau, France. His primary goal is to develop further the skills he acquired during his apprenticeship. Below is a short introduction of Paul.
Below is a short introduction of Paul:
What made you choose the specific research program you are currently pursuing?
Paul: This choice stems from the fact that I am originally enrolled in an apprenticeship program at a company specialising in the railway sector, specifically in the maintenance and electrical fields. I am interested in these specialities, and after completing my master’s degree, I aim to pursue a career in this field.
Any fun facts about yourself that you would like to share?
Paul: As an interest, I am heavily involved in tennis. I have been playing since I was 5 years old but I have yet to be ranked.
