PhD seminar course
Semi bi-weekly organized BGG postgraduate seminar where doctoral researchers gain experience in presenting topics outside their immediate scientific expertise. The doctoral researcher is familiar with and understands general topics related to scientific research and PhD studies including self-management and cognitive abilities.
Content may include seminars, presentations, trial defences, attending a PhD defence etc.
1 ECTS credit / 10 attendance points (a.p.). Participating in a seminar (1 a.p.), presenting (3 a.p.), opponent in trial defence or manuscript (3 a.p.), defending trial defence or manuscript (3 a.p.) and attending a PhD defence (1 a.p.) Attendance points are kept continuously, and are transferred between academic years.
