Den internationella föreningen för serieforskning, Comics Studies Society (CSS) har belönat Anna Vuorinne för sin doktoral avhandling Understanding Abuse and Justice Through Genres: Migration and Human Rights in Contemporary German Comics (2023, Åbo universitet).
