Wilmsmeier research focuses on maritime transport geography and economics, port economics and inland shipping issues. Recent projects focus on port governance, sustainable port development, energy efficiency, competition in liner shipping market, digitalization and technology in supply chains, and nautical electromobility. His recent books include: Geographies of Maritime Transport and Maritime Mobilities
Marcus Thiell is an Associate Professor at Universidad de los Andes School of Management, Bogotá (Colombia), the Director of its Department of Supply Chain Management & Technology, and the Academic Coordinator of the Master in Supply Chain Management. Marcus holds a doctoral degree from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany) and a Diplom-Kaufmann from Hamburg University (Germany).
