Research

Research in relativistic astrophysics encompass both theoretical and observational studies of relativistic objects. We study compact objects such as black holes (BH) of various sizes from stellar-mass BHs to supermassive BH in the centres of galaxies as well as accreting neutron stars (NS) in their different observational appearance: X-ray pulsars and weakly-magnetized NS in low-mass X-ray binaries (LMXB).
