A new Centre of Excellence led by Virpi Lummaa at the University of Turku

Research Council of Finland has selected a new Centre of Excellence at the University of Turku, led by Prof. Virpi Lummaa, to study human diversity. The centre also includes Veronika Laippala, Päivi Onkamo, and Outi Vesakoski. The Centre of Excellence programmes are the success stories of Finnish research and these research units represent the international top level in their respective fields.

The funding period is from 2026 to 2033.
