  • Archipelago Sea – Parliamentary Elections Panel 2023, 24.3.2023, University of Turku, Finland.
    • The project organised a panel in connection with the parliamentary elections in Finland in 2023, in which members of different political parties were asked for their views on the long-term status of the Archipelago Sea and its biodiversity.
  • “Biodiversity: Arrivals and Departures” seminar, September  1.-2, 2022, University of Turku, Finland.

  • “Human-Marine envrionment relationships” seminar, November 12, 2021, Univerisity of Turku, Finland.
    • In the seminar, HumBio project team introduced themselves and the project. In addition, there were four invited guest speakers:
      • Archaeologist Auli Bläuer: Zooarchaeology and biodiversity: perspectives to multidisciplinary approaches
      • Scholar of Religions Jaana Kouri: Environmental heritage – connecting disciplines and knowledges
      • Professor and the leader of the Biodiversity Unit Ilari Sääksjärvi: Tackling biodiversity loss – Multidisciplinary biodiversity research at the University of Turku
      • Associate Professor of Environmental and Marine Biology Anna Törnroos-Remes: Biodiversity and ecosystem services – concepts and marine examples.
