Call for Papers 2021!

On November 25th, 2021, the Department of Archaeology, University of Turku, Finland, will host Nordic Approaches to Archaeological Education (NAAE).

We aim to bring together archaeological educators to discuss new methodologies, theories, and practices. The papers should be directed towards one of the four topics for the conference:

1) Archaeology in textbooks and curricula

2) Archaeological fieldwork with students (of any age)

3) Archaeological learning objectives

4) New methodologies and theories in archaeological education

The deadline for submissions is August 30th, 2021.

Currently, NAAE is aimed to be organized as a physical conference. In case attendants are unable to arrive at Turku, we will arrange a hybrid conference that allows participation via Zoom.
