Finnish Doctoral Program in Oral Sciences (FINDOS) is a functional network between the research groups and doctoral education at the four dental schools in Finland (Universities of Helsinki, Eastern Finland, Oulu and Turku). Professor Ulvi Gursoy, University of Turku is the Chair of the network (2018-).
FINDOS brings together preclinical and clinical researchers nationwide with a common interest in oral sciences. This encourages the exchange of knowledge and ideas, and improves the possibilities for translational Dental research. FINDOS organises e.g. seminars, summer schools and annual meetings for the students and supervisors. Both national and international networking is encouraged. The ambition of the FINDOS network is to benefit also post-docs and already established researchers.
