Postdoc Life: Challenges and Solutions

Joint Seminar of the National Finnish Doctoral Programmes in Oral Sciences (FINDOS)

The National FINDOS network will host a nationwide symposium for all doctoral researchers in oral health sciences and their supervisors in Helsinki on 19 October 2026. Participation is free of charge for doctoral researchers and supervisors, including coffee, lunch, and a cocktail reception.

Digital Poster Presentations

Digital posters submitted by the participants will be displayed on screens throughout the conference venue during breaks. Authors are encouraged to be available near the display area during coffee and lunch breaks to discuss their research and answer questions from participants.

We thank all doctoral researchers who submitted their digital posters and look forward to showcasing their work at FINDOS 2026.

3-Minute Presentation Competition

Participants present their research project in just three minutes to a general academic audience. A jury will evaluate the presentations and select the winner, who will receive a prize sponsored by LM-Dental.

Finnish Doctoral Program in Oral Sciences (FINDOS) is a network between research groups and doctoral education at the dental schools in Finland (Universities of Helsinki, Eastern Finland, Oulu and Turku). Professor Ulvi Gursoy (University of Turku) is the Chair of the network.

FINDOS brings together preclinical and clinical researchers nationwide, encouraging exchange of knowledge and improving possibilities for translational dental research. The network organises seminars, summer schools and annual meetings.
