Online Research Seminar

The NEEN Research Seminar is one of the core activities of our network. This monthly seminar will be organized online and on Zoom. At each meeting, there will be a presentation on recent work related to environmental ethics, broadly understood. We also welcome multidisciplinary work. Each talk will be 30 minutes, followed by a 45-minute discussion. The final 15 minutes are for network announcements and other news. Every speaker can decide if they want to share a draft of their paper for pre-reading, which should be sent to Mikko Puumala two weeks in advance, so everyone has enough time to read it – but this is fully optional. Also, the work can be anything from an idea paper to a fully developed paper.

Fall 2025 Seminar Call for Papers

The call for papers for the Fall 2025 NEEN online research seminar is now open! Please submit an abstract by filling out the form below, including your preferred dates by the end of June 2025. The Fall seminar’s schedule is the following:
