Suvi Tuominen is an artist and archaeologist. Her artistic thinking digs into layers of heritage studies, world relations and performance. This time Suvi brings her performance work Future Past in Linnaniemi to Nordic TAG. The performance is a response to the development of the Linnaniemi area in Turku, and to the development of the Museum of History and the Future that is to be opened 2030 in Linnaniemi. Suvi’s playful performance brings together a time travellers journey, TikTok interviews and concepts (that make heritage futures).
Future Past in Linnaniemi was originally comissioned by New Performance Turku Biennale.

Following Suvi, DJ Unofficial Hippocampus (aka Professor John Schofield, University of York and a Turku Docent) will present his ‘Unauthorised Heritage Disco’. As always, this has something for everyone, but if you have particular requests, do please message him in advance.
